I've posted this on another thread. Don't think we will be getting too many neutrals.

Unless anyone is already a registered supporter they will be unable to buy a ticket either online or over the phone.
They have to go down to Meadow Lane beforehand with proof of address to buy a ticket.

OK this will stop Grimsby fans getting in but will also stop any Notts fan who is not registered or any casual fan who fancies going.
This does nothing to build the fan base. In fact it will probably P155 them off.

I think I am going to downgrade my attendance prediction to 9500.

Agree with your general point that it’s a shame new email addresses can’t be registered, but the cheap ticket offers that we’ve had in the last few years should ensure that anyone who’s interested can go.

Be amazed if the police even considered letting us split the stand having already minimised their allocation.

With the rep Grimsby have (fairly or otherwise), small bits of trouble at both league games, a night kick-off, the danger of away fans in the home ends, recent headlines about fan behaviour everywhere, the chaos at Forest the other night and the stakes of the game, this is going to be the most heavily policed game seen at Notts for a very long time.

All season ticket holders' seats now released for general sale, so assume the ticket maps online are now up to date. Most of the Pavis and the Kop looking full, apart from the wings.

Just had a glance at the old GTFC fans forum. Some seem to have taken delight in purchasing tickets in the lower Kop. Will be interesting to see how they get on if it becomes apparent who they are.
