For those of the NCM "massive" looking to swap the Reedtz Brothers and their "crap recruitment" , "in a heart beat" , for new owners, a cautionary note:

Russian oligarchs with a large open wallets are in short supply at the moment but never fear there is a short queue of chancers ready and willing to takeover at Meadow Lane... Norman Smurthwaite anyone ? Or perhaps that conman who preyed on pensioners ?

We've basically got the Trust model, but with fans not having any say.
To be fair, the Trust probably would have done half decent in tier 4 on crowds of 6.8k.

If that's the case, then it was definitely a massive distraction for our play-off efforts.
You can't be 100% focussed on the job on hand when part of the mind's occupied with swapping Nottingham for Nailsworth. I hope you're wrong.

Trust model? Don’t think the trust would have got us through covid or bought us off Hardy, they did manage to sell us to a Con Man though.

The Trust would have got government support to make it through lockdown measures like everybody else.
List the clubs whose owners didn't get them through that period. This is not something we need to be thanking the owners for.

If the Trust had taken over post Munto and Hardy, rather than Scardino and administration. then they would have had better crowds than they did to fall back on. This is not to say I thought the Trust was a good thing, it wasn't, hence the comparison with the current regime. Being sustainable is a euphemism for owners not willing or not being able to put much of their own money in.

Kevin Nolan was at the game on Monday. I have a funny feeling Notts knew Ian was leaving and they've already got their replacement..

Seems a bit of a 180 from Burchnall to Nolan. Nolan lives in the area and there was a football match on, nothing more too it than that in my opinion
