    Steve Cooper has currently got a better win % at Fword than Brian Clough had, but I doubt even their fans would be daft enough to claim he is a better manager.

    It's a pretty ridiculous use of stats to try and distort what really happened. This league was competitive at the top end, but also it really was piss weak at the bottom end. Seven clubs won at least 50% of their games, and four of them won more than us. Is a 51% win record really that impressive when you consider that half of our games were against Dover, Weymouth, King's Lynn, Aldershot, Eastleigh, Barnet, Maidenhead, Wealdstone, Woking, Altrincham and Yeovil?

    That's why those at the top got got so many points, because those at the bottom were dire.
