Wasn't the East Stand built with money from a transfer though, Ashley Ward maybe?
East Stand was completed in 1993 .

    South Stand 1995 .

    North Stand 2000

The money for the East Stand came partly from the sale of Carl Tiler to Forest .

South Stand , grants and the club borrowing .

North Stand was funded by parachute PL money and the sale of Ashley Ward to Blackburn .

The Academy , training ground and indoor facility came from PL money .

If its a now transfer smudge will go to a big league 1 club.

cant see championship clubs been eager to sign this early.

    they will have bigger targets,

That's probably Scum who's there on one of his covert missions to weed out RUFC supporters who are considering going over to the dark side. I hope you didn't bite

I can't see Smudge going to the dark side.If the chairman has offered him a very very good deal, which he said he would,Smudge will be better off staying with us,at a setup he is happy with.I think it is 60/40 in our favour he stays.

I like Smith, a genuine tries his best type of player, but he’s league 1 standard not Championship

Disagree with that.He looked comfortable playing with us in the Championship and don't see why he wouldn't again.

Comfortable? With nine goals? I love the guy, he wears the club badge with pride. But we need a striker who can net more than nine a season.
