Can't say I know much about this chap. The phrasing at the end about thanking Ebbsfleet for their co-operation and understanding is a bit odd.

Maybe they agreed to release him slightly early from his contract without a fee, or simply allowed us to announce him as our player in advance of the contractual formalities being completed?
