If anywhere I’d say Middlesbrough linking up with Matt.

I love Smithy, he's been absolutely brilliant for us but I just don't see any side with serious ambition of promotion to the Premiership,of which Boro are one, signing him. Sorry if that's an unpopular opinion. He's linked up with Matt at this level before and was relegated, I'm sure clubs think about that.

I really hope he stays but reckon a mid to lower level championship side will come in for him or one of the big guns in L1.

I get that but all it will say is he has still to decide. Rumours going around that Ben Wiles is going to Sheffield United and rumours continue to circulate more about exits than signings.

Why not just assume if there's nothing to say then they say nothing? Also, accept that there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. It helps with the sanity, otherwise you're going to let it spoil your summer

Correct. I really think there is nowt to say atm. Frustrating I know but we all know that nowt happens very quickly when it comes to player movement at RUFC. It will be no different this close season.
