What a way to blow the negativity away. Just imagine the reaction if one of our competitors had signed him 😁
Having seen highlights of him, although seemingly a 20 goal a sesson man in this league, he doesn't seem a like for like replacement for Wootton, more in the Roberts mould, but with more pace, something we have lacked up front.
Is it just coincidence we have signed this guy from Gateshead, or could he have come knowing we already have the signature of his manager from the north east, someone who he says has turned his game around.
Welcome to Meadow Lane, Macauley. Let's hope he is not like Wootton and just scores at 'home alone'.

Apparently he starred when they were at Rotherham in the Cup and Lost in New York Stadium.

Fantastic signing. Understands the league, young, fast, devastating in front of goal, loads of assists. Player of the year, yes yes yes we'll done Notts!!

Wow! This is one heck of a signing. I saw him playing for Gateshead last season and he really stood out. Fast and a couple of deadly finishes.

Must admit I've never heard of him, but he seems to tick all the right boxes. Looking forward to seeing what he can do.

Macauley Langstaff looks a good signing. He's taking a step up, but that was inevitable after scoring so many goals and performing so well for Gateshead. He talks about the manager there getting the best out of him, so maybe that's a pointer either to where we are already looking, or where we should be looking?

Have a look for tomhwilliams23 on Twitter he shows numerous clips of Langstaff and his different attributes. Well worth a look.
