    Party At The Palace!

What a pile of s h I t apart from the brilliant Alicia Keys.

Rod Stewart and Duran Duran were utter rubbish.

They deserved to be slaughtered for dishing that c r a p up.

Too much “diversity” s h y t e as well, like the overuse of fat black women during “Girls On Film” instead of the nubile tarts used in the original video.

Do it properly or leave stuff like this alone.

I wanted to see slags in almost nothing writhing in ice cream not 17 stone heffers dressed in Milletts tents.

Utter rubbish, a waste of public money for this event.

100% bang on Mick and we were saying the same thing! Alicia - what a voice!

Duran Duran were absolutely shocking and worse than Rod Stewart who should have retired gracefully. Some still have it like Elton John who still has a cracking voice!

Why thicko David Beckham got his face in it again - God only knows! Why is he still relevant!

Diana Ross to be fair at 78 still a great performer!

Tuned in for the last twenty minutes or so. From what I watched I thought the light show was great. Dianna Toss less so.

You never know what you've got until it's gone. Although not the greatest of supporters of the Royal Family, GStQ.

Diana Ross was a superstar compared to Simon Fat Bon! Did you not see Andrew in the interval with his torch and sweeties?

Surprised Beckham got his words out and he pronounced her majesty correctly! That said why the f uck did he deserve air time?

Nice to have four days off 68 so something to thank Lizzy for!

........ no. What did the fingering minstrel Bettie Swallocks have to say for himself? Anything more interesting than for the rest of his over entitled life?

Fkhim represented us at football, and a good if underappreciated job he did for the most part in my opinion.

No idea what he did to deserve his airtime as I was out with the wife enjoying our part of the bank holiday weekend.

    GStQ 😎 .

Guys .. seems like only yesterday we were only discussing the same topic at the last jubilee.
So I never watched the event myself but I think some of you are very harsh , just like you slated Sr Paul McCartney of all people last time round.

It’s all about nostalgia, looking back over the years not assessing individual performances. Not too many performers from the 80’s would even have the guts to try. It’s all about the context. Mind you Ross is from the 60’s era …. amazing lady

Would any of us criticise retired ex-players who turned out at a testimonial for example…. Well I guess some would.

Suppose it's all about subjectivity and what nostalgia leads you to sit through, honestly don't remember criticising Paul McCartney at the last Jubilee celebrations.

I didn't watch the whole thing and still think last night's light show was good. I suppose in someone else's subjective opinion it was an example of needless light pollution.

I'd be perfectly fine acknowledging that opinion without the need to highlight the use of candles as an outdated, impractical alternative; nostalgia isn't always what it's cracked up to be.

    GStQ 😎 .

My idea of nostalgia is not seeing Simon Fat Bon on his U.K. tour with tickets at £80 a pop!

Did you not see Mabel or Mimi as worth watching?

Watching Alicia Keys compared to Rod Stewart was the difference between a nice fillet steak and beans on toast😭
