For me Askey is a bit of a risk, Williamson a better fit. So we will get Askey!

Also, there's a big difference between our transfer panel when Derry was here (who was it? Rodwell, Aileen Trew, and Guy Branston?) and our current set up.
Yes, that is true, one of the members of Trew's panel did have some actual experience in the game.

Do you think recruitment was better then than it is now?

He did he also is a massive jinx on pretty much every club he has been at as well !

I have no idea the hold he has on people but he has made plenty of money for doing nothing.

Seriously though: Would you prefer Poundpie, Rodwell and Branston to the current setup, on the basis of two of them having football experience?

I take it you mean Rodwell? He's been pretty much the kiss of death wherever he's been,

Is this still about you making a case for Derry being a genuine possibility for the job or have we moved on to something else?

I absolutely could not stand AT and there are apparently a number of ex-Notts managers who would concur. I feel RT might have been a decent reign had she not been involved, we'd have stuck with Allen rather than sacking him for Curle that's for sure, swap her for the current CEO then yes.

Yes to one of the Reedtz alongside Trew, Branston and Rodwell, for a better recruitment setup than we have now?

It's only tangentially relevant to Derry, but mainly just trying to figure out what you really think and what is said jokingly/half seriously to score points against the current owners.
