ot - Why is it ?

When I go to my doctors surgery is there a sign that says " abuse of staff will not be tolerated "

However when I take the dog to the vets no such sign exists .

    Thoughts ....

Wife works in a surgery Animal …. Been abused, threatened, ( in surgery and in Town)….and had nails, and razor blades in her tyres…
And she doesn’t even work on reception…..
The Police attend her surgery WEEKLY.
The crap her colleagues take for £9.00 an hour is appalling.
(And by the way their surgery, and doctors have been face to face throughout the past two years…..)..

I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen Jules that's not my point and it's not acceptable .

Presumably the very same people who take their dog to the vets also visit their local surgery .

Exactly the same people use both .

I actually think I know the answer .

When you use the NHS you aren't a customer .

When you use a vet you are .

When people go to the doctors, hospital and other NHS places they know it’s free, and whatever their behaviour they will be treat ( seen 24/7 this week?). Deducting patients is VERY hard, very very hard…… even when they smash the surgery waiting room up , and threaten staff the PM’S will do anything to protect the patient rather than the staff.
When patient’s go to the vets they are screwed by the vets emotionally…..in other words, if they pay BIG Monsy, the vet will work hard to “flog a dead horse” as it’s financially rewarding for them, and “soothing” for you..( as you will walk away having spent loads of money you haven’t got (just to say you have done your best).

Our vets DOES Have a sign up warning of what will happen if they abuse the staff…..
The wife confirms that her Practice doesn’t…….. weird innit!

BFC Reds in the Community are running Dog Literacy Courses over the summer.

No Pitbulls or Staffies, unless on leads.
