I wasn't having a go at the club. Was just saying that I understand fans frustrations at the distractions this last week.

I’m still gutted by the Lewis Neilson ‘steal’ - I’m not sure if club have communicated that they challenge the free transfer hearts claim. It’s money down the drain if we have got contract wrong.

Every summer we have had managers that want to leave and not necessarily for a step up.

Neilson went a league down to go to hearts. Mellon to Tranmere. Courts wanted to go to club 4th in Croatia that seemingly could not afford any compo

It’s that time of year again when the ‘we demand to know’ brigade start rearing up, the criticism of the club’s information sharing goes into overdrive usually culminating in ‘Asghar is up to something sinister’, then the usual boycott threats reach a peak. Same sh*te just a different season

Would it really be that much bother for the comms team to issue a paragraph denying the media reports concerning Tam? If there is truth in the reports, then surely the fans are entitled to know. Don't agree with your "demand to know brigade". The fans who spend money and time on the club have every right to know what is happening - especially on such an important issue concerning our manager.

Hearts may well be playing smart c*nts by saying its a free transfer, as technically, it is. They aren't paying a transfer fee. Whether or not they pay compo is another matter.

What would you like the club to say, would a statement along the lines ‘Dundee United Head Coach Tam Courts might leave the club, but then again he might not’ suffice?

If any member of staff are to leave the club, or any intention to bring someone into the club, I would much rather it was announced after any deal was finalised.

You are right, they have stated there will be development fee. I’d be mighty surprised if a football club with its foundation based upon a youth academy, ended up losing their academy graduates without receiving said development fee, after all, that's why the development fee was introduced so it protected clubs against the circling sharks.

Och I wouldnae fret about it, for a wee while before we got relegated last time it seemed we were spunking managers every six months ��
