We hoped for someone who at least had a promo on their CV, but were we ever likely to get one? Nah. Personally I think we were so far down the list that Nolo was the next name up.

That's an odd thing to say, he seems to be the most qualified out of all the names bandied around on here.

This caught my attention. How's he gonna cope with our player selection methods?

''Unfortunately, however, Williams’ control over footballing affairs was limited by the club’s deployment of a director of football and Swindon found themselves in a relegation battle which resulted in the club dropping into League Two and the mutual termination of Williams’ contract''.

Sherwood literally marched down from the stands and started managing the team from the dugout half way through a game. Be funny if the Danes did that, to be fair.

It was more a point to the fact he doesn't really have much management experience and his only stint was a disaster. Looking forward to see what he can do but unfortunately for him I don't think a lot of our fans will be that patient.

Our fans won’t be patient with anyone at this level, unless we’re nearish the top, then they will be. Think that goes for anyone, whatever their background.

Well he does look 'a bit' like Pep so should suit the Reedtz-era style.

Welcome to the club and best of luck to the bloke, but I fear you are right.

Going to keep an open mind on this appointment and give him a chance. Let’s see if he’s learned from his time at Swindon, MK Dons fans have been quite positive about him.
