Giles lead the league in assists by a defender last season for Blackburn. Not a prayer in getting him back here again.

Also Greg Leigh is 27, Bramall is 26. And Leigh is 5cm taller than Bramall, not much in the grand scheme of things.

2 inches is massive in most aspects, forking out a good fee for Giles could be a better investment than signing for example Morecambe's star striker ?

If isn't about forking out for Giles. Given his strong end to the season before with us and then having 10 assists as a defender for Blackburn last season there is no chance a team with more financial clout / appeal doesn't gazump us if we try and make that move. I'd love to have him back but that ain't happening.

I think Giles,who was excellent for us, is on his way to Boro,on loan.His price tag would surely be a seven figure sum,so we would have to pass on that one.
