    West Brom will continue as Cat 1, yes.

    BUT... on a provisional basis dependent on meeting certain action points. Or else they will lose Cat 1.
    Not sure what the points needing improvement are tho?

    The article by the training ground Guru is clap trap, there is no such thing as special measures.
    We are still a category 1 club confirmed by both the Athletic and Masi of Express and Star.

    Correct. There are no 'special measures' for football academies. Headline grabbing click bait.

    Simple truth is we've enjoyed cat one status for a decade so we should have some idea of what it takes.

    Rather than standards slipping there's every chance those standards have changed, we're yet to upgrade and have a season to do so.
