Exactly. It's nice to be in a position of strength for once.

If we lost RR this close season, then admittedly I cry. If we lost Cal for decent cash, I wouldn't be upset after today's an this months signings.

If the owners can (financially) swallow not selling either and taking the big risk of holding onto them next season and then losing them for nowt next summer then lets go with that.

We’re far too comms savvy to put such a clear reference to Rodrigues and Roberts and the players coming in being ‘to work with them’ in Williams’ statement if we expected to sell. We’re going for it this year by the looks of it.

A few fans still not that convinced. Signing players from the league below.
They have a big step up to make.
Wrexham's army of players from the leagues above didn't get them promoted.

I’m very happy with the signings and it also shows the commitment the owners have in taking the club forward. It’s all a question of how they all gel together, of course, and whether our new Head Coach can get the best out of the players at his disposal. We certainly appear to have plenty of options and variety in our squad.
I suppose it’s just a case of who we lose now!

But you'd still keep his poster up next to your bed right?

Signing hungry, strong players from the league beneath you is a pretty solid strategy.

I know NLS/N have a lot of part-time clubs, so the standard could be perceived as quite a bit weaker.

Interesting to see Kiidderminster fans' assessment of our signings so far:

One poster thinks that Scott, Lanstaff, Austin and Bajrami are in the top 5 NLN players. However we are NCFC and maybe.....

Totally agree Swale, some really astute and exciting signings, all seem main, first choice targets, so different to last year where it felt we were a little late to the party. Well done Reedtz brothers, well done Notts, bring on the new season. 😀👍
