I really liked the dark green and gold/yellow trimmed away shirt a few seasons back, that was very smart.

That one was very nice indeed. Although for me last season's away kit was the best we've had. Brave choice and it worked.

This season, not so much. Ok(ish), at best.

If there was a 'blandest ever kit' competition, that one would be hard to beat.
It really is bland, I'm not sure if they're trying to appeal to a new target audience or they're just running through the colour palette on the computer. The blue SAPA one as mentioned was very nice and the green and gold trim was also good. Last seasons I didn't mind in the flesh. My personal favourite was the tartan terror. It should probably be yellow though the away kit. There was that one with the round collar and the badge really big on the front of the shirt in the background, very 90's but certainly a statement. This current one gives the statement of we're weak and may struggle to see each other in certain conditions.

Described as "denim blue" at the time, the 1997/98 championship season, though it was revived the following season after the luminous green/yellow kit proved such bad luck after being worn in the 7-1 reverse in the League Cup at Man City. Probably looks a bit darker in this photo than it actually was.

Without reading too much into it Williams clearly wants us to play at tempo and get forwards with numbers , pressing the game and harrying out of opposition. There were no passes along the back for the sake of it.
Whether it will be more successful than Burchball is anyone's guess.
Looking at the spine of the team I still think we're short of a no 9 and a beefy midfielder although Austin looked energetic and Vincent can run all day. Second half apart from the centre halves it was a small looking team.
Langstaff wants to score goals, very direct no fannying about he just wanted to get shots off which I thought was encouraging and I thought Bejrami looked assured.
Prefer the away kit to the home but neither is very good this year. Didn't like the pinstripes in the 80s either.

Having just watched the highlights I must say the defending for their goal was sh*te 😜

It was pretty good, but I always saw it as more of a Notts Outlaws shirt.

I thought the green and yellow Women make Waves away kit was nice, I rarely buy the kits but I bought that one. I do like the training kits this season.
