Saya a alot when Starmer is in the Royal Box for the tennis rather than going to the Durham Big Weekend TU meeting.
I would rather a pound shop tory than the fully fledged real McCoy that runs the country Now ! ..
Corbyns gone the country didnt want him due to the damage done by the media. He was already a a hated man before the media ground him into the dirt but I dont see any reason why Kier and Raynor cant Cherry pick some of his best ideas when moving forward...
That’s the point though. They haven’t. As was said before, a generation of people finally engaged in politics and the interest moving towards younger people rather than the pale, stale Tories…
And it’s all been thrown away, probably due to donors and sponsors saying they want a pale blue imitation.
Corbyn is done. As you said, media destroyed him and people believed the rubbish. But it doesn’t look like anyone in the LP is even willing to take it by the throat and push on. The LP is constantly stuck with in fighting locally and nationally.
That’s why Mick Lynch made such an impact the other week. He was willing to step up, be honest, blunt and take no prisoners.
Hated?… nah… only by the establishment, never ordinary people. A man of principle, honesty and integrity… values sadly lacking in the current Labour regime. I went to many of the rally’s where he spoke… thousands upon thousands turned up to listen to him speak.
Remember Glastonbury?

That's about where I'm at. I've never been a big fan of PR before because it all seemed a bit wishy-washy, but after the way this bunch have scandalously and callously abused a big majority I see it as the best way forward, in the short term at least.
As things stand, I can't support any party with conviction, so my vote will again go to the candidate most likely to keep the Tory out.
