Funny how we’re all looking for Cresswell etc to come back better players but……………?

Just waiting to see how things pan out this coming season before judging any of our signings - a little like most of us did about Raphina - but he who knows all - rubbished the signing of Rapha on the last day or the window as a "panic buy" of some unknown - hmm - yet just now he is moaning about our selling of "our most creative player"

Will always be the same - rubbish every player we buy before they have kicked a ball - then rubbish the club for selling them on at a vast profit

He will NEVER change, always right, and a happy bunny toboot!
You're quite the gatherer of my posts, perhaps. I have no idea what I posted regarding Raphina, possibly what you accuse me of, but unlike some (who I wonder) I'm prepared to change my opinion, AND admit I was wrong, so if I rubbished the guy the clearly that was incorrect and "the boy done good" satisfied? Doesn't change the fact that I've been right more than wrong, and if my views of the majority of incomers since Orta arrived had been the determining factor, we'd be a WHOLE LOT better off, in all respects, on the field, in the bank etc.

Oh and and as for getting under peoples skin, you looked in the mirror lately?

Sinisterra was just about the best player in the Dutch league - the Dutch league is not only good and competitive but many of the players from there do well here.

Adams did well in the German league and had played since he was a ****ager in the US side.

Arnie is a Danish international and is rated by lots of ex pros.

Roca was a squad player at Bayern Munich who Bayern were happy to keep but he wanted to play more regularly.

Stop embarrassing yourself with your bile and vitriol. For one who gets upset if anything you say is not quoted verbatim you do have a habit of twisting things.

A lot of people like to hate on certain players but Roberts has talent he just couldn’t do it in the premier league for us. There were times in the EFL when I thought he looked as if he would develop and be good. You seen to like writing people off which either suggests you are bitter or you much have had the most perfect Midas touch in life - hmmmn wonder which it can be.

The margins between players who make it and those who don’t are often fine. I guess nuance and subtlety isn’t your thing though.
Just a small point, and at severe risk of being labelled a racist again, but as with most other PL clubs we seem to have an aversion to making the dream of a Premiership place for players from these sceptered isles just about impossible to achieve. Sad, and not a good omen for the national sides of any of the home nations.

Agree with that, it's easier to bring in a player already proven (mostly) rather than nurture a promising young English lad, spend years bringing him through then watch a big club snaffle him and years of hard work gone. Everything nowadays has to be instant, sad really. Pretty sure there's a few premiership games go on with hardly a British player on the field, let alone an English man, sign of the times, and I'm not being racist by saying that, just facts.

Still not quite got the gist of the grammatical precision, mmm? The meds will help, just so long as you keep taking them.

On the actual subject, none of those who agreed with my earlier assertion (post #34) are racists, although they "might come across" as such to someone as sensitive as you, they just see that when it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and flies like a duck, it's probably a duck!

Once more you miss and twist the point. Slagging off what is foreign without rationality is different to wanting home grown talent to flourish but keep digging.
