    We should beat Shrewsbury on Friday. I accept that they are disrupted by playing two 11’s (usually) to give the squad match practice. However, the squad should perform irrespective of that.
    I agree Swiss, they may 'only' be friendlies, but if one team is going to lose, I'd rather it wasn't Burnley or Clitheroe.

    Me too, sinkov.

    I don’t like to hear players and staff saying “it’s all about fitness and not about results”. Similarly, “it’s only one match - 45 still to play”. That breeds complacency when a winning mentality is what is required.

    Every match matters and every loss should hurt.
