They keep signing decent forwards but at the end of the day i’m not sure you can play them all at once. So keeping them happy and motivated will be Parkinson’s biggest challenge.
If Elliott Lee is on 5k plus, that’s a massive gamble on a player who hasn’t been prolific. For me the 2 other forwards they have are better equipped to fire them towards a promotion push.

It does seem strange that they have signed more forwards when scoring goals was not the issue for them last season. They were the highest goal scorers in the league with 91.

Had they been a little tighter at the back they would have won the title.

Seems to have played less football than Brookes. Don’t know anything about him. A quick google of him shows he’s been at some decent clubs without getting game time.
He fits the profile in terms of age and probably hungry to get a chance to prove those clubs that released him wrong. However, not sure how you scout or get stats on someone who plays so little.

Roberts and Vincent asked to leave under IB, this may have changed with the new manager. We had bids for Cal in Jan, but we turned them down.
We are still after a CM (Morton may have gone back - wasnt involved last night)
Dodoo was being lined up to replace Cal (if that happens)

We are still looking at a GK, LWB and CM....relax. Things change.
