Notts are "paying very decent wages" and making multiple signings where transfer fees are being paid by the club. Ambition from the owners?

Measured ambition ( which is what it should be but I doubt the transfer fees are very high). Needs the same measured approach to implement it on the pitch. Wasn't there enough last season. We go again.

'Measured ambition' is a very apt description IMO and a world away from Pete and others previous contention that the owners are unambitious and happy to stay at this level.

I too doubt the fees are very high but they are still fees to acquire targets identified by #theradar, and not just on one or two players. That combined with the rumoured "very decent wages" is a pleasing and required statement of intent.

Get your facts right sunshine. There is nothing "rumoured" about what i posted. To be honest, what they offered I would expect from a club of Notts size & the gates we have been getting. The signing to me wouldn't really show ambition, relation or not.

I know who it is and it would obviously have been an ambitious move for a club in our league.

Only thing that doesn’t really add up is us wanting to shift people to get him in. I wonder whether he was lined up as a possible replacement for Roberts or Rodrigues, but they now look like staying. It’s not exactly a position we need someone unless they move on.

I'd say we are talking about 2 different players. I wouldn't call it "ambitious" unless you class signing a league player that.
