As Hull played yet or Greaves I mean getting more game time than just coming on for last 10 mins or so. Why are we * about with trialists? Signings we want whose good enough for this level who aren't past their sell by date!

Nothing wrong in getting a older experienced player[s] in, if they do the job, whether
    a short contract or season-long-loan.
Some clubs have taken the risk & brought players in -

Reading - 30 year old Jeff Hendrick, season-long-loan.
Reading - 35 year old Shane Long, 1 year contract

Sheffield United - 32 year old Ciaran Clark, season-long-loan

Derby County - 31 year old James Collins, 2 year contract

Middlesbrough FC manager Chris Wilder was interested in signing 32 year old Newcastle United
striker Dwight Gayle, but talks have stalled, after Middlesbrough owner Steve Gibson not wanting
to sanction a deal, he prefers not to sign players over the age of 30 years.

Good Chairman Steve Gibson a risk signing players 30 or over. Look at Eaves!

We don’t always see what management see or we don’t agree with them.

I like Hull but personally no I don’t think he’s ready, if we were still in L1 then I’d like to have seen given a go.
He’ll go out on loan if we can spare him 😂

We are very naive when it comes to this same witj selling players. We should have been pro active with smith and not let him get to his last year of contract. The offer ts made innthe end should have been done then or not even that much. If the pigs had still come in for him he would have at least been under contract and they would have to pay a fee for him
The sane will happen with ogbene and part of me says we should up is wages if he wont accept flog him now.
So you're comparing buying professional footballers to summat off ebay ?

I must admit, not a comparison I expected to read today.
