    Found myself in the cardiac ward at ARI a few years ago and was served M&T with skirlie. The skirlie was fabulous though I did wonder if it was part of a secret euthanasia trial.

    Possibly the blandest meal known to man. Now, turn the mince into a keema and swap the tatties for some basmati and you may be on to something.

    I aye thought i disliked mince n tatties, but it's only coz Scotland does it wrang (like much other grub). Fix it wi rendang and sambal Indonesian-style and it's life-changing.

    Mind that 'fit's for tea?' thread? Good to see it's returned under summer signings!

    There isn’t much on the rumour front so we have found ourselves debating choices of foods. I don’t do foreign foods, simply for the reason I find them disgusting. Give me mince and tatties, steak pie, bacon egg and chips any day rather than the junk they serve abroad that is smothered in some crappy sauce. Another thing I don’t like is these dodgy soup.Give me lentil, broth and I will even stretch to leek and potato as long as it’s not that creamy version of it rather than all those other types. Folk that like tomato soup are also worth the watching.
