PW once refused to sign a player based on the fact that he’d cheated on his wife repeatedly. Or so he claimed.
But the behaviour of a few of his players contradicts this and I’m mentioning no names but one of them now plays in blue and white.

I’d take it all with a pinch of salt and I think it’s all a bit of kidology. .

Lee Hughes and notts county were ostracised on here saying he should not play football again because he’s a ****.
Now PW gets stick for having the morals of wanting to create a culture of good people.

He usually only gets stick from one poster on particular who seems to think wanting decent people and a harmonious group is somehow a weakness.

I would have thought that scotty would have thoroughly researched the background of any player he may think could do a job for us, knowing the requirements of the manager, and PW would be asked if he would be happy with said player before TS is brought into the discussion. UTM

TS might be backing him, we just don’t know.

Yes entirely possible as warne said himself,and probably the most I have heard him lean that way and softening on that stance.but has never gone down that route yet and I am not sure he ever will in all honesty..

Ts does back pw but not to the standard it needs to be in the championship.
