Elsewhere, obviously, Frog. I thought my point was self-explanatory. Someone suggested our problem in recruitment was down to us being gazumped by Championship clubs and that the manager had suggested by L1 clubs too. I said there was little evidence.
Gazumping means specifically that terms have been agreed or provisionally agreed and at the last minute someone comes in with a better offer. From my information there is a single instance of that happening to us in this transfer window.
Ipso facto if we are failing to secure targets the problem clearly lies elsewhere. I can think of three or four reasons and different ones or a combination may apply in certain cases. Money is one. Prospects is another. Style of play and likelihood of being played out of position is a third. training methods that some may feel too onerous is a fourth. Character unsuitability is a fifth. The town and geography may influence some.

My comment was tongue in cheek wendun. All those reasons do hold merit. The town one however? Hardly any players live in the town and haven't done for years I'd imagine.
