Lionesses have quick feet too as well as sharp claws

One or two of our lasses can really play the beautiful game. I'm hooked!![]()
Just watched spain beat Denmark, hence our next opponents. They're good but lightweight, shouldn't be a problem. Again though good use of wingers and crosses.
Our Rachel says we will beat the Spanish lasses and that's good enough for me.
I decided to give it a go, slow start but it eventually got going, and it was a good comeback. I'll have to watch the semi now, I like following a winning team. Thought the ref was good as well.
One thing did occur to me, is there a problem with racism in women's football, 115 minutes had passed by before I saw a player whose skin wasn't white as the driven snow. Where are all the black girls ?![]()
Questions have been asked, however, semi-final of a tournament has been reached so perhaps the best players have been selected regardless of colour, orientation, or whatever. To be honest I thought that the Spaniards were the better side but congratualtions to our lasses who just kept going and won it with a cracking goal.
Spain were in control for long periods, were the more technically gifted in possession and took a deserved lead. Wiegman again threw on subs, changed the tactics and when the equaliser finally came, changed the game plan again. Lionesses dug really deep and came back to win a game they really looked like losing. Looking forward to the semi final.
Need to replace Daly with Greenwood, White with Russo and get Kirby to drop deeper, other than that all good stuff.
To answer sinkov's rather silly question: are you suggesting a team that "takes the knee" is actually racist?
I wondered exactly the same mon ami!![]()
