Harkes definitely has flashes of ability and from what I understand, the other players at the club think that he is a very decent player.and shows up well at training I personally think that we are still to get him an ideal partnership to get the best out of him. I am not writing him off but I am not sure that we can get the best outta him at the club, RJ will have to work his magic on some of the players we have. I firmly believe that we are a player short in the midfield that will make it all click. Hard to judge this squad as I don't think RJ has managed to stamp his style onto it yet because we are missing players. Time will see.

Ross Jack (or RJ) is currently manager of Highland League side Rothes.
He played for the Fun & the Pars amongst others in the 80s.

Created more than enough chances to win the game. A match sharp Fletcher scroes both his chances.

Would've preferred one more pre-season friendly tbh. The Spanish games aside, we've only had two fairly competitive first team games to prepare us for next weekend. That team yesterday looked a game away from being ready.

I have been surprised at the lack of games we have played. Compare with Killie who we are playing next week. They have played 8 games; 4 pre season and 4 competitive League Cup fixtures.
