I am shocked that you are shocked, Mee was alerted quite a while ago that he was not going to be offered a new contract, there was a change of mind by the club, but by then I expect Ben's mind had been made up by the lack of an initial offer. I really do not understand your attitude, your personal attacks on such a long serving player are shameful. It's his career, his decision, feck all to do with anyone else, he's done far more than his bit for us and good luck to him.

In fact if it was down to me I'd cancel your ST, refund your money and ban you from the ground, we need proper fans behind the lads to get us out of this division, not moaners and whingers who will turn on our players on a whim. In fact if you don't start behaving, the next time I see Mr Pace in the Higher Buck, I'll buy him a nice bottle of sparkling water and demand that you're banned.

Great thing about footy is it provides a source of conflicting views. Mee has been banging his heart and kissing the badge for the last ten years.

He was in the dugout giving it large in attendance with Jacko during the real end of the relegation battle and he was supposedly crocked (how many times have we heard that old chestnut before?) and could not play.

I'm really disappointed with Ben Mee, but I'm sure his new £5 million contract for two years work in north London will not cause him too much consternation with my attitude mon ami. Onwards and forwards.

Mee has been a fantastic servant to Burnley and who can blame him for finding another job if he isn't offered a new contract? He only has a few years left and he'll do a job for Brentford, but surely Burnley fans can only wish him all the best for the future - and turn their attention to what's in store for the next season?
It's a new era - as always happens in football - so it's time to get behind the team that you have this year and stop thinking about the past.
That said, it took some of our lot years to get over the fact that we wouldn't be playing in Europe again for the foreseeable future - but I think they've finally come round to enjoying wet Tuesday nights away at Morecambe

According to the Mail we've told Forest we want the money up front for Cornet, if they want instalments, the price goes up. Sounds good to me. And City have turned down a £20m bid from Southampton for Liam Delap, did I read somewhere we were interested in him, or was I dreaming that ?

No mon ami you were not dreaming. The two bean cans and length of string Vinny and Pep are using to communicate is read hot.

No idea why we want another right back, it seems either Lowton or Roberts are off.

Goodbye Dwight. No doubt Cornet will also be off so we will be left with the deadwood from last season of Cork,Jayrod and Ashley.Roberts,Taylor and Brownhill will be still here because nobody wants them as they are Championship standard.
Align those with the new boys and I think its going to be a long season.
Just watched VK`s pre-match press conference and he looks like he has had a serious reality check.

I'm not a "Happy Clapper" CiB but Jack Cork, Jay Rodriguez, Ashley Barnes, Ashley Westwood, Charlie Taylor, Connor Roberts and Josh Brownhill would walk into any existing Championship team, we will pi$$ the Championship - no problem!
