Sunak is more popular than Truss with Labour voters, so in theory he would more likely be the choice between the two to win the next General Election - and for that reason I'd vote for him as a Tory member. That would be my thinking process anyway.

I also think Truss's financials make Corbyn's sound solid. Sunak would also be the smarter choice economically, despite his woeful record as chancellor.

And I heard someone say this on the radio - there is something extremely unauthentic about Truss. She was previously a Lib Dem, then a Remainer. Now she is a hard right Brexiteer. She quite happily dispatches with any of her political principles providing it advances her career - as she is doing right now.

Yes but Sunak is tainted and like Johnson lies, broke the rules and manipulating the financial system to benefit his family!

If you were in food or fuel poverty you certainly would choose Truss over Sunak as a gamble as clearly Sunak cares zero for the have nots but loves his rich chums!

Not a fan of Truss but would rather have Livermore as the PM than Sunak!

Hateful man! That said no time for any of them and does need a new party!
