And if they haven’t - surely after they stood up at a presentation and said they had - then the sports reporters from YP, Chronicle and Radio Sheff would be all over it like a rash.

They haven't put a million quid in to the club , they have increased their shareholding through creating more shares .

It's not the same thing as putting a million quid in .

News Now - report from YP.
Duff wanting 1 or 2 more strikers.
He is waiting for Premier clubs to start loaning players out.

Does this mean more U23 players to add to all the other U23 players ???
That is to say - young fellas that haven’t yet reached their full physical strength.

We are in the 1st Division - other clubs will realise they can’t beat the technical ability of most of the Barnsley players.
So as things stand with the squad - I’m expecting our midfield and strikers to be bullied and clogged out of the game.

Why do you not wait & see who comes in before being critical about whether the loan player is up to it or not , we have had some bad loans from top clubs but we also have had some very good ones & until you actually see how they perform then you should refrain from judgement , it does my crust when people make their minds up about players before they have kicked a ball for us , give everyone a chance first.

I agree with regard to individual players.
Any player brought in should be given a chance.
But what I’m saying in my previous post is not about individual players - its a topic raised for discussion on how the club adapts to playing in a lower league.
