    Lee Peltier signs in.

    Welcome aboard Lee.

Checking out his stats , he's definitely been around but at the higher level in the game so for us, I suppose it brings us that wealth of experience. Yes he's 36 in December but Woody is older and look what he can still deliver.

He has previously played in several positions in both defence and midfield, he primarily plays as a right-back or centre-back.

Previous clubs played for of significance are Liverpool, Huddersfield Town,Leicester, Leeds Utd, Cardiff, Notts Forest,West Brom and Middlesborough so a very good pedigree. He is also a former England under-18 International, winning three caps in 2004.

Like Ihiekwe, Lee was also born in Liverpool, they breed em big over there. Difference is Lee carries a far better CV.

Here's to his stay with us being a competitive, productive and enjoyable one for all concerned.

Straight in the back line over Woody or do Woody and Hall start? Nice to have to decide over good Centre Halves.

It’s got to be a back 4 against Swansea for me,they like to play fast football so an aging back 3 will get slaughtered.4-5-1 against these.Only my opinion tho before geetar gets involved.

    He'll just string us along.....

Yes a four for me also although we haven't played with a four for more than half a season so, we'll have to be patient with em and shout encouragement even if mistakes are made.

We've signed specialist wing backs so can't see us playing anything other than 3 at the back

Redhouse, I think the problem is we are lacking badly up front so Warne will run with a 4-4-1-1 and the wing backs will have to sit this one out, then again you may well be right and he wants to take it to Swansea from the off.

He got released by Middlesbrough so he won't have had a proper pre season. I don't think he'll even be on the bench.

Masbroughstreet, Considering you can now use 5 subs from the bench in any game, and we have 3 players out with injury/illness, I think he'll be on it.

It will all be down to what formation Warne wants to play.

Thought we needed a left back who can play left wing back! I'm not welcoming our latest signing S Mac younger Warney same came across before he became fitness coach with us so near 15 seasons ago S Mac was never fit with us so latest signing strikes me as old pals act. Another backwards step.

Evans got us players like Broadfoot who when moved to centre back was one of our stopping up players under Warnock.
