Our Board have gone very quiet , Agree SB it's time for them to back Duff , It's also time the Board put some money in instead of relying on fans all the time, NAPM from me ,

Duff needs the financial backing of the New Board.
Not just further free transfers or punts on young Premiership U21's on loan.
If Duff wants Alfie May from Cheltenham because he knows and trusts him then back him at least once.
The Arseoyle as CEO lumbered us with Cole, Oulare and Iseka last summer. Give somebody who knows a lot more abart football at least one pick.

Correct Roma.
It's OK Parekh wearing a Red's scarf or that Aussie lass Quay saying "I love the town of Barnsley and i am a fan of the club" but they need to back Duff on at least one transfer that involves a fee. Often one player is the spark that is needed to lift a club.
Spectemur Agendo
Received an email from the club this morning saying that should we purchase tickets for any of the August fixtures and decide to commit to a 2022/23 full season ticket they will deduct the cost of our match tickets from the season ticket purchase price.
Perhaps Roma this is an attempt to raise funds to possibly purchase Alfie May lol !

Tell them to Balhax Poggy 🤭
Its time they showed some commitment , going quiet and hiding away now seems to be the Norm at #oakwelltowers !
Where did the alledged 2 million compensation for Val and Struber go ? Who trarserd that ? They must be sat in meetings just wondering how to keep pillakin fans how to part with money , perhaps the Supporters Trust could get more involved !!!!😋
Yep - good points - especially in relation to knocking the ball long.
Clearly it was the team tactic.
But why ?
Continuous long ball forward - played straight into Plymouths hands.
We had two light weight strikers stood together - that were easily levered off the ball by their centre backs.
Only time we made any progress is when Aichison in the 1st half ventured wide - and Thomas did the same in the 2nd half.
We need more flexibility other than punting the ball up to 2 light weight strikers stood together.
Only having 2 strikers also greatly effected the high press - which was clearly non existent.
Plymouth defenders had time and space to pass the ball straight through Barnsley’s midfield.
IMO - we need a return to 3 strikers spread out along the front line.

What goes under the radar and I guess is the cause of massive frustration is that with fans in attendance this club has lost one hell of a lot of football games .
Before covid under Stendel in the championship and then Struber we were in the bottom 3 for 45 weeks before escaping with three minutes of the season remaining and even then it took Wigan's points deduction to save us .
The covid season under Val whilst a moral boosting pick up at a terrible time in history wasn't watched by anybody other than on a computer and sky sports red button .
Last season was simply a catastrophe and so we go in to a new season a level lower with not a penny spent on recruitment and some of our better players sold to breach the financial holes .
The first game back in league one has us looking all at sorts and massively undercooked .
The frustration felt by many isn't the events of yesterday afternoon per se but a combination of the last three seasons .
The business plan remains , the business plan that says we buy Player A for a £800k and two years later we sell for £3m without the necessity to be funded from the boardroom .
Which is fine in principle but what happens when Player A is bought for by our standards decent brass and doesn't cut the mustard and what happens when you recruit more failures than business plan successes ?
Well you end up in League One with huge losses and no money to spend in the market on recruitment and that's without even mentioning the shady characters who have contributed along the way .
We stand today as a consequence with minus three shady characters , that's all , nothing more and nothing less .
The actual business plan that's failed us still remains and what's more it's likely to fail us even more given the fact we can no longer even recruit players for £800k and yet the business plan still remains .
Michael Duff may well get a tune out of free agents and academy products in Cheltenham terms , half way up league one is considered a successful season .
Halfway up league one at this club isn't and as Roma and SB have said Duff needs backing if he is to kick not only this club on but his own managerial career .
The business plan is broken , the evidence overwhelming .
And yet ..........
remember many years back a similar situation , The board at the time we're far from being wealthy , yet managed to fuddle together 10k ( a lot of money at that time for small local buisnessmen ) we signed both Barrie Thomas and Johnny Evans for 10k , those signings transformed the Club, Fan's and Town in general , attendances improved ,it was a pleasure to see , some investment , some ambition is all that's needed ,
