I thought killie were basic but ok first half with the marauding right back, who totally dictated that side of pitch and imposed himself on watt and McCann, but second half they looked a poor side, and I suspect they will be around 9-10. A decent side would have finished them off.

The sending off turned the game in terms of our ambition, or lack of, but even before that our passing was poor standard, and that 20-25 min period second half we were on top and controlling match we had zero efforts from open play on goal. Middleton through middle when we went down to 10 was pointless, not that we had great options by that stage.

You think there is no correlation between what the fans expect/demand to what the players produce. Just popped over to east football to have a wee read there and most of them saying the same thing, id take a draw on the ****y plastic pitch. Loser mentality mate.

I thought considering Killie had played 8 games to our 2, our starting line up is not settled and we will still probably look quite different in a few weeks, playing away on that pitch we did ok, but still shows we are not where we need to be to push on from last season.

Sending off changed the game. Hopefully Harkes becomes a permanent sub soon as regardless of his red he was the worst midfielder on the pitch AGAIN, for the 3rd game running. TA has done really well this window to get players in to the squad but the decision to give a 1 year contract to Harkes is an all-round disaster.. hes not good enough for where we want to be, he clearly thought he was moving on and he will be in 12 months... pointless waste of money from us!

No, I don't think there is. It's all down to how the manger has the players thinking.

Lets be honest, he got that because of his goal v Celtic and a couple of other goals he chipped in with and whilst i can understand how those goals stand out as important/big moments..... hes a midfielder who was absolutely sh1te in midfield 90% of games he played in

For sure, folk have made their mind up about him and nothing will change that now. Stupidity like yesterday from him has just put the tin lid on it.

what does he really do tho?

We treat him like hes some sort of good versatile midfielder and maybe thats our fault. id say hes below average at most things and we shouldnt be trying to find some role for him to play.

Hes below average at tackling and passing but we will sometimes play him deeper, he has very little creativity but we will sometimes play him the more attacking of the midfielders. We cant rely on him when the games get tough to help us get control and we dont ever see him take a grip of a game. im not entirely sure what he brings other than the occasional run in to the box to get a shot on goal. id uch rather see us find a balance of midfielders who can do the different things well than fit someone in who can do everything below average

In a season where we scored not many, his goals won us some very valuable points. He won us the derby for instance.,Just saying .

Getting bored of the he could he might talk re Harkes, facts imo are apart from the odd game he hasn't

Nice fella and would love Jack to make him consistently a 7+ out if 10, but as it stands Harkes is not good enough at this level
