And I personally don't think he's a better player than Fraser. If we were to try sign him I think the deal should be some money along with either Ritchie or Murphy. If we can't get one of them going the opposite way I don't think there is any point even trying.
This is a good video of him from last season:

Scores all types of goals...volleys, headers, free kicks.......i think he could flourish under Howe and with better players around him. He was surrounded by pretty poor players last season in a defensive team

    Saw an interesting post elsewhere…

He played at Lyon, with Bruno and Paqueta before moving to Burnley.

If he was still at Lyon, would people be turning their nose up at him?

He knows where the net is, that's for sure. He can blow his own trumpet and is entitled to with goals like that.

Agreed, I liked what I saw of him last season.

Good video thanks for sharing. Going by that like you say he looks very good and is capable of different types of goals also looks a decent corner taker. I'm not saying I don't rate him just that I haven't seen a great deal of him but what I have wasn't mind blowing. Looking at that video I've just obviously not seen him in the right games. I do stand by what I said though where I'd like a player going the opposite direction if we did sign him.

How about Murphy in part ex? He could do well in the Championship.

A very good point Ian, I saw a similar one on FB.

I think we all know, we probably wouldn't.

At £17.5m for him at 25yrs, I would not be unhappy if we signed him. Id be more unhappy if we didn't sign anyone up front.

Do they want to swap him for Wood? Just a thought... ...and a serious joke.

What about a loan deal for a year?

That would possibly be advantageous for Burnley and Kompany as they could well bounce straight back up to the Prem and could get their player back at the end of the season if we want to go for a higher tier of player next summer.

    Decisions, decisions!

Can't see this. Down in the Chimpo cash is king. And in one year if they don't come back up, they will be getting back a half eaten Cornetto.

They'll be just as keen as us to trigger that clause. Even though he's no worldbeater, I prefer to see him here and blast the big money in January or at least at the end of this window. Something doesn't feel right about giving Leicester so much money right now for a midfielder we don't need.

Cornetto is underwhelming but cheap as fu'ck, leaving all of our options open.
