Would Ashley Fletcher (Assuming the striker we are after is him) be the goalscorer we need to help keep us in this league?
If Wikipedia is anything to go by goalscoring record reads around 1 in 4 playing for Barnsley. 21 appearances 5 goals.
and around 1 in 4.5 playing for Middlesbrough. 92 appearances 19 goals.
There appears to be a Warnock connection here again

Not a top end scorer is he? You never know, our style of play might bring the best out of him. You can't comment until he's in, he's had a go and we see what he can bring to us. It's a loan so if it don't work out, we're not stuck with him.

Let's get him in and hope it's the final piece of the jigsaw. Wouldn't like to see Kelly go on loan though. Believe we have a good player in him and he should be given game time also.

Another " mid range" striker would also put the pressure on JJ and Kelly.

Better use of the loan system is to get a player that improves us and whoever they replace become the cover Grist

I remember Fletcher from earlier in his career he looked to have a good future ahead of him but he's not progressed that way. He's not that old so if had it once see if by playing him enough can get his game back.

We already have
Hall - season long loan
High - season long loan
Fletcher - possible loan for rest of season.
