EP just something in his body language that gave me the impression he has an attitude problem, backed up with his going down way to easily when in contact with an opponent, along with the Twitter rubbish.
As far as I know he seems have been the only player to not see eye to eye with IB. Just my opinion

I remember him running to the dugout to remonstrate with IB after we had conceded from a corner, where he was left to mark a 6'4" centre back. I put that down to passion rather than petulance.

Yeah, I'll remember him as a committed, passionate player whose career was derailed just as he was getting going. And his statement on leaving came across as genuine to me.
I'll follow his career wanting him to do as well as possible.

Injured again now. Good luck to him but I am glad we sold him and got a fee. He did a good job for Notts but missed a lot of games due to injury and on the basis of yesterday we are just fine without him. Squad still seems a little light though.

I understand our reasons for selling him but I’m still sad he’s gone.
He missed virtually a whole season so, understandably, had a slow start to last season. That was the only time I would say his desire was verging on petulance. He had a run of games where he was booked for dissent.
His form during the run in was more like the Cal we first signed and was easily our best player. 16 goals from a midfielder, returning from a year out and often playing out of position, is pretty damn good. Another 5 games and I think he’d have been our top scorer.
Hobbling off for Aberdeen doesn’t prove to me we’re better off without him, just as Gateshead are no better off with Langstaff hobbling off against York and Scott being injured/ill during preseason.

Perhaps it happened at away games only and that's why you never saw it.

That would make sense when you consider the impressive home record , and less impressive away record last season.

In that case I think anger, frustration and disappointment makes more sense than petulance.

Unless his attitude miraculously changed on a weekly basis!

It's obviously subjective but if a few believe that's what they saw and you only went to say half the games last season you can't say they didn't see it.

Well you can but it wouldn't carry much weight lol.

Whether it could be described as frustration or petulance , or somewhere in between it resulted in a little too much moaning on the field in games in my and others opinions.
