We can easily afford him. Trust me, we have the funds. Very wealthy people run Aberdeen nowadays….i would imagine it will cost less than £1m for Scales. It’s a no brainier…the player is class.

Oh really. We may have wealthy owners. Your assumption is that they should happily fritter away that wealth on a foootball club that even in very good years is unlikely to make much profit meaning little return for their investment. Very wealthy owners doesn't equate to a very wealthy club.

You imagine Scales would be less than £1m yet we received £4.2m for Ramsay and £3m for Ferguson. How do these numbers stack up?

The way the economy is goin tho, a million quid player now, might be a 2 million quid player in a years time .... even if he disna improve. So we should be buyin' the guy now! .... Celtic will get mair value for said million now than they will in a year, so it would mak sense tae sell him now .... and right now, we would be the better option for a quick sale.
