This is exactly it Roly. We're heading for one of the most reactionary right-wing governments ever if Truss gets in. She'll leave Thatcher standing. And all this in the unprecedented times we now find ourselves in. The BBC never left Corbyn alone and took every opportunity to join in on the anti-semitism smears and lies, but they give Johnson and the Tories an easy ride. I used to religiously listen to Today and PM on radio 4, watch BBC news....not anymore. The bias is subtle. It's all about what they decide to cover and what they don't plus bias placement of news stories. The cost of living crisis and a desperate need for a redistribution of wealth is what matters to most people, but there's little if any real discussion and analysis about it on BBC news and current affairs.
