You're right about Robson running through brick walls for the cause, he was the footballing equivalent of Monty Python's Black Knight and as such he had injuries throughout his career.

Might not have got injured so much if he'd taken the long way around some of those walls mind 😊 .
Robson 198 games 40 goals in 6 years at Albion.

Man Utd 345 games 74 goals in 13 years.

England 90 games 26 goals in 11 years.

633 games and 140 goals in total up until becoming Boro player manager.

Do we anticipate Dike playing 633 games and scoring 140 goals at a ratio of 1 every 4 1/2 matches?

Not being pedantic 68 but Robbo was hardly a sick note.

There was no need to quote those figures Mick as I've got access to the internet too and at no point did I suggest Robson was a sick note.

Just stating as fact that he was far from 'hardly ever injured' as Al' suggested, in fact any such notion is quite frankly b@ll@cks 😊 .

There’s a difference between getting injured going into hard tackles and being a warrior as opposed to a player who plays not even a game and it’s his thigh, big toe, hamstring or whatever. That was the point and perhaps Robson was not the best example. The point though were the players of years ago played come rain or shine - had a pre match pint and still got on with it!

In this day and age the poor players are pampered and no wonder they have one issue after another. Bit like todays folk - rushing to see a GP - rushing to get flu jabs - rushing to get Covid jabs - getting their a rse checked and worrying about scans.

Here today might not be around tomorrow! My dad was a tough guy and must of it’s in the head - it’s called positivity and those were his thoughts. People will die sooner from a negative outlook - stress/worry as opposed to a positive person who just gets on with it!

These players on obscene wages need to get on with it. Mental health and depression cases are going through the roof at the moment with poor people who can’t afford to eat or turn on their energy. Put this into perspective

You can bet Okay will be on the bench on Sunday because Bruce is a c unt and Okay is twice the player of Livermore. That’s the point!!

From my recollection Robson suffered the majority of his injuries at the start of his his career and then towards the end. The middle part of his career was reasonably injury free. I could be wrong as I have no facts to back this up.

Again..... he had injuries throughout his career and not just at the beginning or the end. And in case anyone's wondering, no I am not suggesting he was a sick note.

I've only speed read this so I apologise if I've missed anything. Correct, you made your point with the wrong player. Robson was a war horse who led from the front and got injured accordingly, often playing through the pain barrier leading to further complications down the line. Also I could have sworn you've previously stated you're Covid vaccinated 😊 .

I am Covid vaccinated because I had too due to illness but kids aren’t vaccinated as why would they have be - mega fit and healthy and both had Covid and almost didn’t know they had it.

Certainly wouldn’t have another vaccination and the flu jab not for me - never had a cold so pointless. My point is there are weak people and mentally strong people hence players who don’t really get little no nothing injuries. True to say most people who see GP’S ( or did ) are always seeing them and likewise the same players are usually in the treatment room.

Dike is a waste of space! 22 for f uck sake and anyone would think he was 72! Why do we always get the crocs?

No doubt Hugill 2 will be coming!

Bryan Robson never broke his left leg twice, his right ankle once, tore his ankle ligaments, tore his hamstring and dislocated his shoulder more than once either. Genuinely no idea whether he ever had a cold though 🤣🤣🤣 .
