That would be the same players who showed up well last season in some games given to them. Demonstrating flexibility of thought on the ball and being allowed to play. Albeit still hard to accept getting pumped by 7 may have been slightly more palatable had we put out a team of youngsters.

Would Cudjoe, Meekison, Glass, Mochrie, Graham done any worse, we'll never know.

My thoughts are also the same as the national team; we always go for experience when quite frankly that experience is mediocre at best in the national shirt and performing once in a blue moon isn't good enough.

    Only an opinion

There is no question the manger played this wrong. He set up the same as at home but AZ were a completely different proposition. At Tannadice they held the ball and didn't give us any major threat. Last night they were incisive and cutting and we got totally caught out by it.

Better get used to it. Canna see Ross going with youngsters very often, although how long will he be here for? Out of Europe, bottom of the league and out the league cup---all before September?

    1) he's been backed more than any manager in the last 5 years with some big names coming in

    2) He's clearly under no pressure to play academy players (seems to be shipping them all out on loan)

    3) clearly dosnt rate Graham, Sheep or Meekison as they have barely played

TC got us to 4th and Europe last season blooding loads of youngsters who never really let us down (like that shower last night)
As said previously we could be bottom in the next 2/3 game

Ross could be under massive pressure very soon.

The warning signs were there at The Livi game.

Completely pathetic from all last night. Feel for the Arabs that travelled to support that.

Serious lessons to be learned by players and management, quickly hopefully.

    Restrained version ^^

TC was doing fine regardless of line up he had available, he'd use the likes of Graham, Meekison and many more at times, we'd still be difficult to beat for the most part

I wanted to see how he'd take it forward but we'll never know now

I hope Ross is a bit flexible at times as I was impressed by Meekison towards end of season and Graham in a back three especially was great

Sheep need to calm down, a home win vs St Mirren where first goal was a pen and they went down to ten men has you all crawling out the woodwork

    Now now.

I admit I came on for a bit of a gloat but I wouldn't have posted if he hadn't criticised the wine.

The fact that he even knew about the wine means he's been on Abmad himself.

For what it's worth, your team is too old .

We've suffered with the same problem during the ultra boring McInnes years.

The Glass experiment didn't work but was worth a try (apart from f'uckin Scott Brown)

I feel this season is going to be better though, work in progress perhaps but good enough for the top four, actually I expect third.

All of the coaching staff and every player involved in this game have disgraced Dundee United FC. This result is now part of our history. Every single one of them now need to go into every game this season and prove to the fans that it was a freak result.
I hope the club make a public apology to all DUFC fans, especially the people who travelled over for the game.
