    Would it actually hurt you to admit that Wood had a good game rather than rubbish the opposition? It's a sad man gru who can't bear to admit that he's ever wrong.

    Wood didn't have a good game, he had an excellent game.

    And yes in future games he's likely to get roasted by a fast player running at him.

    Every player will get well bested by an opponent at some point in a season. But no reason to to be stupidly obstinate when he has a good or excellent game

    I remember back in the sixties, Jack Charlton ,while playing for England, saying, he hated ball players running straight at him, we can only wish OUR Wood, good luck, and keep up the good work,.!
