I was talking about real life protests (old school banners in the stands, a protest march to the stadium, organised walk outs etc) , they have have all occurred inside and outside Old Trafford, Emirates stadium and at St James'. When it comes to them we historically barely register.

Hard to put a figure on it, but I'd guess it only takes around 10% of the crowd to turn the atmosphere toxic and seriously rattle cages. Its not so easy to take when you pay £35 coach travel and nearly £20 to get in, plus food and drink.

I feel your frustration Durham - I was there too. We are not yet capable of overwhelming teams and whether we get there this season remains to be seen. On the upside the effort levels were good and it is hard to fault LW for team selection, set-up and substitutions. The Gateshead fans I spoke to were impressed with Notts. If today shows progress on the season so far then we will be heading in the right direction.

Also re TAR he was unimpressive at the York friendly so it makes sense that he needs to up his game in training.
