I see young Frank has gone on a months loan to the shots, prob not a bad thing as he ain't getting a look in lately but I can't help but like the guy, let's hope he comes back re*****ised

Assuming he's not going to get a regular game here at the moment - and I agree with many that perhaps he should do - then I see this as a good decision.

Frankly (pun intended) I would be happy for any of our squad players to be loaned out to other teams in this league and get game time behind them.

Hope he comes back and makes himself unstoppable in our team too.

It's obvious to me sitting here in Australia that he has a bit of a personality in the way he plays and on and off the pitch. It's hard not to like him but he doesn't fit our mould it seems. He's had a few good games a few average games and a few poor games. He comes across as very impulsive. I am sure he would "give his all" for the shirt. But in the bosses we trust.

Chalk another one up to John then. He told me he was looking for a move a week ago. Best of luck to the lad, we could use his energy in midfield.

MNot enthused by letting him go instead of giving him a proper chance. Got more energy than other of our other midfielders and at least tried to get things going. Would look good on the wing imo.

In fact I’ve not been enthused by much so far this season. I guess we’re in a bit of a transition with the new manager and stuff but I’d hoped for a brighter start…even the opening day win was rather boring or lack lustre.

Playing 8 defensive players in the starting 11 ain’t my cup of tea….neither is LW’s personality at the minute.

Full of the joys today eh….

If he’s not going to get on the pitch then he might as well as go, but truly ridiculous that he isn’t. He contributed more in one game(Stockport) than Francis has done in his whole time at Notts. And if the accusation is he gives the ball away too much, than I give you JOB.

    Fckin rubbish.

Absolutely. But disappointing that we're denying ourselves the option of using him when he might be exactly what we need.

I hope this doesn't mean LW is doubling down on fielding around 7 or so players that don't contribute to the goals and assists columns, and who the opposition don't have to worry about. Frank is a threat breaking from deep.

Because he is better than some of those currently in the team. Just my opinion
