Wow Notts fans are so embarrassing. Booing your own side in a local derby for passing the ball back, disgraceful.
I would not blame LW if he walked, as it is obvious the vast majority of our paying customers do not like him. All the new signings must have wondered what they have got themselves into.
Chesterfield had hardly had a kick before they scored, and it took two top class finishes for them to get on the score sheet.
I hope those people booing as early, and for no good reason, don't come to watch again, as they are like a cancer.
It would serve a good proportion of so called Notts fans right if the owners put their money elsewhere.
I have never felt so ashamed to be a Notts fan, and think the club is close to dark times, if this atmosphere continues.

What an absolutely ludicrous statement. He still has a fair bit to prove, but we've only played 4 games FFS. Some people booed, and it was audible. But to call them "the vast majority" takes drama queenery to new levels.

After posting utter garbage like that, the most embarrassed Notts fan should be you.

Got to say, drama queen alert!
FFS. We’ve played 4 games. Were we crap for the majority of today? Yep.
Was it really frustrating watching the first hour? Yep.
Did a few fans air their displeasure? Yep.
Will that cause Lukewarm to walk out? Have a word with yourself! He’s doesn’t even know his best eleven yet, never mind formation.
Unsurprisingly, comments on here until the substitutions, we’re negative, just like the feeling around the ground. But all it takes is balls into the box when we’ve finally got a poacher on board.
Will we win the league? Unlikely and it may go pear shaped. Again, but calm down dear and get some sleep!
I didn’t enjoy the first hour at all, but don’t think that makes me embarrassing! I’m pretty sure my lad can suggest many situations where he looks at me and goes “god, you’re so embarrassing Dad!” But today wasn’t one of them! Lol

The owners were there today, so if they were hesitant to make a key signing to assist LW or in allowing him to make more of his own decisions, then perhaps the booing will help tip the balance which could make all the difference. Sometimes a club does need a kick up the backside from its' supporters to do better.

Not a fan of people booing their own team, but today they were well deserved, both at HT and 2-0.

For whatever reason, I don’t think Williams is going to get the benefit of the patience of the fans that Ardley and Burchnall had in this league. He would help himself of course by starting with his best side and not letting what should be valuable players go out on loan.

It seems to be the way this board is going, you can't show the emotions real football fans show without being ridiculed when (with hindsight) those emotions prove to be misplaced. We all "sing when we're winning" as today proved. Notts fans were very quiet until we scored, and then when we scored again the previously boisterous and vocal away end became distinctly subdued. It's how football works.

At the risk of a ban (and even worse the wrath of holier-than-thou types like magpie_mania), I believe the reason for this is down to one poster. If he gets his way and his #mission succeeds, I'll save time and ban myself.

All I'm asking is for this board to be like a football match. We are all passionate Notts fans and some express themselves differently to others, admittedly sometimes not in a good way. So what? Emotions run high when you care. If someone posts "we are f*cking sh!t" when we go two goals down they will already look a bit silly if we come back to win 3-2. Someone constantly highlighting it after the event to make themselves look big causes nothing but division. If a red card comes my way, it's been nice knowing you all.

    Well, nearly all.

The quality in the squad is the lowest we’ve seen since being relegated. In my opinion four or five of those players either aren’t good enough or just don’t understand what LW’s plan is. The system and style of play isn’t working. We’ve got players playing positions that make no sense at all, we create very little at all, and are set up more or less with 8 defenders…it’s no wonder the fans are getting upset already this season.

I actually thought OB was one of our better players today but in general he shouldn’t be starting anymore. The farce of our midfield has been going on for so long now it’s just not funny. Playing wing backs that literally never reach the oppositions touch line. When we do play long we play it to the shortest player on the pitch in Langstaff. I never want a Notts player to fail, but Mitchell isn’t, and never will be good enough….you can’t teach anticipation and he is always 2-3 seconds behind the game, no good for a striker.

Credit to the guys for getting back in the game but it was barely deserved and really does paper of the cracks. I’m not confident in LW at all. I’ll be be even less impressed if we don’t address the serious lack of quality in the squad in the coming weeks.
“We were playing one of the best teams in the NL- and we dreww 2-2 - what the heck do you want?”

Yep, I think today showed what we lack - a proper midfield. I know the owners have spent a lot keeping us going, but I don't think it's too much to ask for fans to want a bit more. The cash from the sale of Roberts and the PSF friendly with Forest should give us a bit of spending power unless the idea is to mitigate losses. I'll be disappointed if we don't make an addition soon.

Agree, midfield and wing backs we are lacking. Striker options are strong and we're well set up for defenders

One comment I noted was "That poster has come up with the most lamentable insult I ever heard. I mean, 'Cheaterfurlough'. How cringeworthy is that?" As cringeworthy as calling us 'Notts Clownty' in my opinion.

    Have we forgotten Munto already?
