Add to this Butcher mess and losing him, not replacing him, Benji going and not having a suitable back up, Ross not having the dressing room like TC very much did, and him not fancying certain players that excelled under TC like Graham and Meekison

All has contributed to it but yea, stems from TC wanted to go, so TC is really to blame, we had a decent young manager who the players enjoyed and who set us up well, especially against the uglies more often than not
You call it the "main reason" but TC departing as he did is just a side show to something i cant get my head around. RN jumped when he had a job to finish, MM went back from whence he came, TC jumped as soon as he could, and now JR has already either thrown in the towel or lost the dressing room.

It seems to me that there as many questions to be asked of the new regime as of the old one, and the same net result seems to be just around the corner! At least the last time it took me to September to see we were relegation fodder!

Thought Harkes was one of the better players today which in itself an indicator of how fecking bad we really were!

According to bbc website we had 69% possession, thats a lot sideways and back passing.

We certainly don't seem to have the players for a back 4!

Agreed and his work is often unseen, but yesterday he shone which is like you say dire. the bench used shows the level we have dropped to. The wee winger is no where near ready and another few matches like that and he will be destroyed.

Graham has to play he's a United fan and that counts for a lot more than some of the mercenary bTards. Maybe he should be given captaincy and build team around him. Mulgrew and Edwards have looked off the pace for weeks but whether that's because there lack of pace is being exploited by lack of cover on the wings or lack of cover in the CM positions.

We miss a Fuchs or as some are saying a Butcher type.

Sheep has played several positions he needs to play also. Maybe he could cover CDM give us the energy and pace to cover that area. He always looks like he gives a ****, that's what we need people whi give 2 Fncks.

Back 4, 5 shouldn’t matter, these are supposed footballers, who should be able to adapt and play any formation, in predominately their primary positions. It’s simple pass to the same coloured shirt, hassle when not in possession, move ultimately forward and bloody well RUN!

Remember saying to my mate that our pre season was very poor (don’t think we won a game) and then thinking it’s pre season you can’t take much from that. Especially with Ross not long in the post and players yet to be signed. 4 games in and we have shown no signs of improvement with rumours JR has lost the changing room. Already TA has a major dilemma on his hands. Does he give JR time while we slip further behind or does he look else where? I personally can’t see MO or TA allowing this to go on much longer. I think the next 4 games including cup game against livi will determine what happens next. I really hole JR can turn this around but from what I have seen on the pitch so far that is going to be a big ask.

Very much agree, a joke that he proved himself second half of last season and now stuck on bench

Three at back, Freeman right wb, Smith can fill in at cdm or rcb, did both fine last season on occasion
