Not exactly unexpected was it, I posted this just six days ago,
" Entertainment guaranteed, for his sake though I hope he doesn't cock one up during the Panto season. You can just imagine the comments. What is certain though is that sooner or later he's going to give a goal away. I might start taking bets on how long we have to wait. My best guess would be........not long.
As it would have been obvious even to Stan's blind man on a galloping horse what was going to happen, it must have been obvious to Vinni also, and he must have decided he can live with it. In which case, don't expect any changes in the goalkeeping department.

Maatsen - WTF was he thinking?
I can't understand why fans are moaning about anything. They saw a game with the Clarets having lots of possession, lots of passing, 6 goals thrown into the measure, sendings off ---they wanted entertaining because they were bored with what they had been watching in previous seasons. Surely this game filled the bill and there was no VAR to contend with either!
Meanwhile sinkov would be happy with Clitheroe's progress into the 1st Qualifying Round of the FA Cup at the expense of Colne and I am happy with Ashington's 7th win in 7 games to also make progress in the FA Cup away at Tow Law.
Anyone who has watched the recent fly-on- the-wall series about Arsenal may recall Arteta telling two or three players who had screwed up that players make mistakes - that is football. Even BT’s belovéd JRod has made mistakes in his time.
Anyone old enough may remember Gary Sprake throwing the ball backwards from the edge of the penalty area, and into his own net.
It was poor decision making by Muric and Cullen failed to control the ball. It cost us, but let’s give them a break. Hopefully lessons will be learnt. As I have commented previously, we are not buying Ballon d’Or contenders. We have to expect some screw ups along the way.
It might be healthier too if there was more focus on the good points - attacking entertaining football with three good goals. On another day, that is 3 points in the bag.
I have just watched yesterdays game on Clarets replay,
It was an entertaining match, Burnley bossed that game for 75 minutes of the 90 minutes. There was a 15 minute patch where we lost our way in defence. Muric does need to learn when to go long, but beside his mistake he did make some excellent passes. Maatsen just reacted stupidly, which people of my age group have all have done in our younger days.
I was surprised when Tella was substituted for two reasons, firstly the Blackpool defence was terrified of him and secondly I never feel it is good to substitute someone who is on an hat-trick.
Overall though I think we will play far worse that that and win the game.
Remember the aim of VK is to be in a playoff spot by the time we get to the World Cup break (Nov 13 - Dec 9) so 16 games to go.
It's not just us, Chelsea have a footballing keeper as well. Leeds 1 Chelsea 0.
There really was some merit in Sean's philosophy, if your keeper lumps it into the opposition half, it doesn't really matter whether you win the ball or lose it.![]()
It is not so much about moaning but the genuine fear of bringing on a heart attack with suicidal defending. As VK said players need to look where the spaces are. Nottingham Forest were leading at Everton yesterday with only a few minutes remaining. Pickford launched it long between the opposing centre halves and Gray simply waltzed through for the equaliser.
