Will prices ever come down?

I’ll make this prediction here and now.......I don’t think things will reduce.

Even if raw material costs do start to drop I know that in my own industry the price we pay for goods won’t drop.

They’ll all think that people have become accustomed to this hideous “new normal” and continue to hammer everyone and just make bigger profits as their costs decrease.

On energy prices, if the average household bill was £1200 a year ago and it goes to £6600 next year does anyone seriously believe we’ll ever see annual bills of circa £1200 per annum again?

Of course we won’t.

You only have to look at previous petrol price increases, they shoot up and come down to just higher than what they used to. It’s almost like conditioning us to think ‘oh it’s come down a lot’ but actually we’re paying more than it used to be.

I really hope people in the UK leave in their droves. If i could, i’d move to France but wife will never. We have family in NZ with acres and acres of farms and land which would make sense to go to, problem is it’s too far from everyone and everything else. But I can see and i hope it happens.. mass immigration out. Hope it happens to the point that those at the top suffer apocalyptically.
How ironic and hilarious would it be to see brits going over to France in a dinghy.
