    Periera to Everton or Leicester

    https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2022/08/2...eicester-city/

Looks like he will be in Prem this season

We just seen to play situations so poorly, Fulham kept their squad and their top player, Mitro, and went up

I think we will be mid table Champ club like Peacey said

Its very sad. It doesn't matter how much we care about this club, the owners don't care as much. Its all about the money. NOT spending it.

What do you mean, don't care as much? He doesn't care at all, and yes it is sad, very sad!

Fair comment BS buddy. Whilst I have seen us reigning high over the years (1st match 1961) I have of course also seen the other side of the coin ! However, I do accept our status as a mid table Championship side, albeit hope to see us challenge for a playoff position. Should we succeed, undoubtedly a relegation dog fight will ensue. Such is the Albion in recent times.

The gap between the Premiership and us continues to expand, particularly in the absence of serious financial input. There is no enjoyment of seeing our side getting a hammering as per Bournemouth ! We are keen to remain Season Ticket holders, given finances ok…and not too many non Saturday fixtures! I consider the promotion opportunity is wide open, with no clear candidates and therefore offers an exciting (and frustrating) season.

I wonder what % of his future sell on value our management team negotiated before letting him go?

I’ll be quite happy finishing 7th, I like the Championship, just like the old 1st Division,
God help us if we got promoted under Lai and Co

The only upside of us being promoted to the Prem would be that it would increase the likelihood of Lai finding a buyer for the club.

I always used to say that this club belongs in the top flight, we have spent most of our time in it, the nineties were the only decade we weren't in it. But now I can't see the point of going up, getting freebies and crocks and being the whipping boys. Look at Bournemouth yesterday and they are better than us
Until Lai and his rotten regime has gone nothing will change, but by then we will have probably sunk too far.
