Good to see another well known personality speak out about mental health issues as it's easy for anyone to fall into depression/anxiety and not see a way out and it doesn't have to be about money just pressures that build up of any kind.

That said, he is a man of contradictions, claiming he doesn't care about fame and success at some points when he clearly does. He says he has found salvation in training which has really become his addiction and I guess at least he can continue doing this even when his boxing career is over because he will have to find something to occupy his mind/time when that comes. How many people devote most of their energies to one thing and then find themselves lost when It's gone. Better to explore other options early maybe?

It's great to encourage anyone to be the best they can and if you want something, to go for it but from a pragmatic and realistic point of view most of us don't get to be the best at anything. Learning to accept that can be difficult for some but managing expectations is a life skill and we are all good at some things. Those at the top of their game tend to get there through a combination of ability, drive and luck and sometimes that drive can be close to psychotic making them not terribly nice people.
