Maybe with Fox in charge we go back to Mulgrew having influence and input and we get another 2-1 defeat away to Livi and a win v Motherwell at the weekend.

Hope he knocks the phuck out of these so-called professionals, as he did to these burglars.

I guess that would go down well with the fans but does Asghar give a f*** what the supporters want.

    Dear Supporters,

I would like to address the current situation amid what has been a largely disappointing start to the on-field campaign.

A string of poor performances and unacceptable results led to the board making the decision to relieve Jack Ross of his position as Head Coach. Such actions are never taken lightly and, as a board, we took a period of reflection and information gathering after Sunday’s game before coming to our decision.

This has been a horrendous run of results for the club and for that we apologise unreservedly to our fans. However, it is my belief that the tools and infrastructure remain in place for us to achieve success on the field. This will require everyone to be united behind what we are trying to do.

In the almost four years of ownership at this club, we have achieved nearly all of our goals and objectives earlier than expected and as a board, we believe we can take things even further soon. I am confident the players, staff, executive team, and board currently in place are the ones to take us forward alongside a new Head Coach.

As we begin the process of looking for our new Head Coach, please know this will take some time and I ask you all to remain patient and supportive.

Your support has been exceptional, both in terms of ticket sales and vocal backing and I know you simply crave success for our club. I can assure you I share that craving and certainly expect we will again soon be seeing performances in which we can all be proud.

I think MAurice Malpas on dode fox said that Duncan is not hard compared to some of the players we had back then - 😂

I like Duncan’s personality but not sure what he’s be like setting up a team tactically in the spl !

Not sure about Liam Fox pedigree either

The players take a lot of responsibility for this and I expect big performances in next two matches to get us out of the major trouble we are in

Alarm bells started ringing for me when I watched a pre-match interview with Ross and Edwards, I think it was before the AZ away game maybe. Edwards seemed to be keeping his distance from Ross and looked totally disinterested in everything he was saying. It may just be Edwards demeanour but I remember thinking at the time something wasn't right.

If indeed Ross was only showing his face at the training ground 2-3 times a week then it's no surprise things have went they way they have .

I never believed for one minute he was hurting as much as United fans were after the embarrassing defeats - largely down to his personality and smirk on his face while doing post match interviews.

Next manager needs to stay in Dundee or surrounding areas.

My concern with Ferguson would be....who the hell sacks him if things go wrong! He would certainly get respect in the dressing room and I canny see anyone challenging him if they don't like his tactics....but lets face facts...we are super skint.....it's gotta be Fox and mini Tony!

He was having two days off per week, not 'showing face for two days per week'. This was documented when he signed. Given the players have Monday off, you'd then assume he'd have a day off after the Saturday game.
